The Rye’s Flies website started with an idea of mine, which would bring me and my dad closer together since his retirement last year. My father actually came up with the name for my company, so I guess he thinks he's on the payroll now.

Fishing has been a passion of ours since I can remember and although we’ve fished all over the country we always love to fish the Appalachian Mountain Rivers.  The Rye’s Flies website focuses mainly on the Southern Appalachian Mountain Rivers, Streams and Brooks.  We hand select only the finest flies and patterns that are sure to catch fish in the Southeast.
